The future of our local arts and music venues is the topic of this month’s Nevada County Community Forum, according to a news release at YubaNet.com.
The discussion will focus on “specifically the Miners Foundry Cultural Center, InConcert Sierra (currently under construction) and The Center for the Arts in downtown Grass Valley” at this month’s Forum, to be held Friday, April 25.
“This free, one-hour forum will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the auditorium, Room N-12 on the Sierra College Nevada County campus. YubaNet editor Pascale Fusshoeller will serve as moderator of this month’s event.
“InConcert Sierra’s Artistic Director, Ken Hardin, Supervisor Lisa Swarthout, who also serves on the board of The Center for the Arts, and Nevada City Mayor Gary Petersen, representing Nevada City which just recently took over management of the Foundry, will be heading the panel.”
